Watch on-site
Watch the Bundesliga live in the betting shop
You want to watch the Bundesliga out and about rather than on your own at home. In the betting shop, matchdays play out on the screens, depending on the shop and its commercial licence. Here you can read which broadcaster shows which match and how to check beforehand.
Bundesliga matches can play out on the screens in the Tipico betting shop, depending on each shop's commercial licence. Which broadcaster shows a match is set out in the official Bundesliga fixture list, usually from the Wednesday before the matchday. Whether your shop is showing that exact match is best checked on-site.

How the Bundesliga plays out in the betting shop
In many Tipico betting shops, Bundesliga matches play out on the screens, depending on each shop's commercial licence. Your Tipico betting shop is a betting agency, not a sports bar or a pub. What's shown on the screens comes down to the shop's commercial licence. These licences come from providers such as Sky Business or DAZN For Business.
The line-up isn't the same everywhere. One shop shows a particular match, another shows a different one. Some show plenty of matches, some only a few. So never assume that every match is on everywhere. If you want to see a specific match, ask on-site.
You can find a shop near you through the betting shop finder. The daily programme shows what's on for a given day.
Which broadcaster shows which match
In the 2025/26 season, the Bundesliga is split across Sky, WOW, DAZN and SAT.1, and the kick-off time usually tells you which broadcaster has a match. Sky and the streaming service WOW show some of the matches, DAZN shows the rest. A few games are on free-to-air on SAT.1.
| Kick-off time | Usual broadcaster |
|---|---|
| Friday 20:30 | Sky and WOW |
| Saturday 15:30 (individual matches) | Sky and WOW |
| Saturday 15:30 (conference) | DAZN |
| Saturday 18:30 (top match) | Sky and WOW |
| Sunday 15:30 and 17:30 | DAZN |
| Sunday 19:30 (15 matches) | DAZN |
| Opening match, Supercup, relegation play-offs | SAT.1 (free-to-air) |
The Saturday conference at 15:30 is on DAZN and brings together the matches being played in parallel. In midweek rounds, matches are also played during the week. The official fixture list then shows which broadcaster has them. SAT.1 also shows a few matches free-to-air.
Which broadcaster is on exactly comes down to the shop and its licence. You can read which broadcasters are possible in the betting shop on the page Which broadcasters in the betting shop.
How to find out which match is on where
The official broadcaster allocation for each individual match is set out in the Bundesliga fixture list, usually from the Wednesday before the matchday. There you can see, fixture by fixture, which broadcaster is carrying it. This information is only confirmed from Wednesday, because that's when the kick-off times become final.
Go about it in three steps. First, check the fixture list for when your match kicks off and which broadcaster is showing it. Second, look at the daily programme to see what's on that day. Third, ask at your shop whether it's showing that exact match on the screens. That way you don't make the trip for nothing.
Watching the Bundesliga without your own subscription
If you don't have your own Sky, WOW or DAZN subscription, you can follow matches on the screens in your Tipico betting shop, as long as the shop shows them under its commercial licence. This is no substitute for a private subscription and isn't meant to get round one. It's a way to enjoy matches together, out and about. You can find a betting shop near you through the location search.
Free-to-air matches on SAT.1 you can watch without a subscription anyway. These include the opening match, the Supercup, the relegation play-offs and a few other fixtures. Exactly which ones is set out in the fixture list.
Sport in the shop is entertainment. Betting is voluntary and never a must. Gambling is only permitted from the age of 18 (21 in Bremen) and can be addictive. If you have questions about your own gambling, you can find help and advice at buwei.de or by phone on the nationwide gambling addiction helpline.
Broadcaster offering varies by shop
Whether a shop shows a particular Bundesliga match comes down to its commercial licence and varies. Ask on-site.
